The same Kisi grape, transformed by tradition, fermented with skins in qvevri clay vessels, this wine undergoes a complete metamorphosis. Extended skin contact gives it the amber color and tannic structure that defines Georgia’s unique amber wine category. Made with minimal intervention and wild yeast fermentation.
About
Chelti Winery are one of Georgia’s finest family owned wineries whose wines receive multiple awards each vintage. The history of the winery can be traced back to the last century when the ancestors of the Marianashvili family built their first wine cellars, now, Giorgi and his children Ana and Andria head up the wine-making and operations.

Food Pairing
Perfect with grilled steak, slow-braised beef, roast lamb, venison, wild mushroom dishes and aged hard cheeses. Decant for 30 minutes before serving at 16–18°C to reveal its full complexity.
